What it is
TrailGuide is the orchestration layer that sits on top of the tools you already run — your data warehouse, your push provider (OneSignal), your email. It is the piece that decides who gets what message, when, and then sends it with the right guardrails.
The difference is how you drive it: instead of a UI, you talk to it through Claude. Ask a question and you get an answer from your live data. Ask for a campaign and it gets built, previewed, and held until you say go.

- Connect Claude once. A teammate does the one-time setup on the Connect page — one click, approved in your browser. After that it is just chat.
- Ask for what you want. Questions, audience ideas, campaigns, journeys — all in plain English.
- Review, then approve. Claude shows the audience size and the exact copy first. Nothing sends until you confirm.

Why it is safe
The orchestration layer is built so an experiment or a stray message can’t do harm. The guardrails run whether a person or Claude triggers a send:
- Nothing sends without you. Campaigns install paused, and going live is a separate, explicit step.
- Holdouts. A share of your audience is held out automatically so you can always measure true lift.
- Frequency caps. Org-wide limits stop anyone from getting over-messaged.
- Preview & dry run. See real rendered copy and the exact audience size before a single message goes out.
- Kill switch. One instruction stops every send org-wide, instantly.
- No accidental blasts. If an audience rule can’t be worked out from your data, it reaches nobody, never everybody. And sends only go to real, public destinations.
